It's been a day since I've seen you last But it feels like much more time has past I think of you my sky turns blue But with you away my day is grey To be so true I must say I miss you | ||||||||||||||||

========================= A cute, little kitten purrs on the sill Waits for her little girl to run over the hill Waiting and Wondering Much time has now passed "Where is my little girl? Oh, here she comes-at last!" But following little girl not far behind Is a brown little puppy Cute, Caring, and Kind "She can love him,too. I will not mind?" She enters the room where Kitty awaits Wanting some love From her favorite playmate But little girl is busy now With her new friend Smiling and playing Til the days end. Cute little kitten Sits on the side All alone And wanting to hide "What can I do to get little girl back? What does puppy have that I've come to lack?" As day and night pass us by Little puppy is happy I want to cry. But one sunny day Kitten on the sill Sees little girl Over the hill Running to Kitten "Oh, what a thrill!" I'd say that she wants me But that's all a guess If puppy again returns I know I'll be a mess. "Will she pick him once again?" The answer-Yes. | ||||||||||||||||
